Outdoor Season kicked off at Riesenbeck International

Last weekend, Ludger, Philipp W., Philipp H., Ciaran, and James kicked off the outdoor season at the CSI** at their home venue in Riesenbeck. Our riders arrived in Riesenbeck on Wednesday with a total of 26 horses, and by Thursday morning, the first victory for Team Beerbaum had already been recorded. Ludger and the 7-year-old Irish Coffee de Pehou won the first class of the Youngster Tour, with Ciaran and the also 7-year-old Little Special in Red M securing fourth place. The success continued in the Youngster Tour over the following days for our horses and riders. In the second class, Ciaran and Allegro Z took home the victory, while Ludger and Irish Coffee de Pehou placed second. James and Cazaan’s Cecotto (4th place) and Ciaran with Little Special in Red M (7th place) also secured placements in this class. Ciaran dominated the Youngster Tour final with two fast and clear rounds, claiming victory with Little Special in Red M and securing second place with Allegro Z.

DSP Oganero P, who is available to our breeders via fresh semen this season, delivered two convincing, clear rounds under Philipp H. in the 2* Medium Tour over 135cm and 140cm, earning a sixth-place finish on Friday.

The 8-year-old Forlee, who is also available via fresh semen, impressed in the Medium Tour under Ciaran and secured a placement over 140cm on Friday.

In the Large Tour, Dominate Me placed 5th under Ciaran over 145cm on Friday, and Darshan also impressed with James on Thursday afternoon in the Longines Ranking Class over 145cm with a clear round.

The highlight of a successful weekend for our team in Riesenbeck came on Sunday with James and Darshan in the 2* Grand Prix. With a stylistically impeccable and clear round, they qualified for the following jump-off. As the first pair to start in the shortened course, they once again delivered a clear round, securing fourth place.

Also noteworthy was the victory  in the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck by Kathrin Stolmeijer and the 10-year-old Tamuin LS, owned by Beerbaum Stables.

We look back on a successful weekend in Riesenbeck, where our young horses, as well as the two stallions Forlee and DSP Oganero P, presented themselves exceptionally well. James and Darshan’s top placement in the Grand Prix rounded off the sunny weekend at the Surenburg with great success.
