Riesenbeck International conquers podium place in Mexico City

Shanghai Swans win the second GCL leg ahead of Cannes Stars

It was exciting right to the end: in the end, the team that managed to stay clear in both rounds won. At the second leg of the Global Champions League in Mexico City, this was the riders from Shanghai Swans. The winners of the first leg, the “Cannes Stars” ladies' team, and the three new Riesenbeck International team riders Marco Kutscher, Emanuele Camilli and Max Weishaupt went head-to-head for second and third place.

Marco Kutscher made a significant contribution to the success with two clear rounds on Aventor. Emanuele Camilli also remained clear on Odense Odeveld. Maximilian Weishaupt had one down with Omerta Incipt in his first team outing.

As the Cannes Stars also had a knockdown in the decisive final round, it was down to time - and the ladies came out on top.
Team boss Ludger Beerbaum was very satisfied: “Really good rounds from the three boys. We made up a lot of ground after the second leg.”

Riesenbeck International is now in fifth place. There are still 13 stages to go. The next one will take place in Shanghai from May 2nd to 4th
