Outdoor Season kicked off at Riesenbeck International

Last weekend, Ludger, Philipp W., Philipp H., Ciaran, and James kicked off the outdoor season at the CSI** at their home venue in Riesenbeck. Our riders arrived in Riesenbeck on Wednesday with a total of 26 horses, and by Thursday morning, the first victory for Team Beerbaum had already been recorded. Ludger and the 7-year-old Irish Coffee de Pehou won the first class of the Youngster Tour, with Ciaran and the also 7-year-old Little Special in Red M securing fourth place. The success continued in the Youngster Tour over the following days for our horses and riders.

Just like last year, Christian and Checker once again secured victory in the $750,000 5* Rolex Equestrian Open Grand Prix in Wellington on Saturday evening.

"This is a story you couldn't make up," Christian said after his win, having become a father in the early hours of the morning before the Grand Prix. "This day will always be a very special memory of her birthday. Tonight, I am the happiest man on the planet."

Riesenbeck International conquers podium place in Mexico City

It was exciting right to the end: in the end, the team that managed to stay clear in both rounds won. At the second leg of the Global Champions League in Mexico City, this was the riders from Shanghai Swans. The winners of the first leg, the “Cannes Stars” ladies' team, and the three new Riesenbeck International team riders Marco Kutscher, Emanuele Camilli and Max Weishaupt went head-to-head for second and third place.

Start of the Global Champions League season with victory for the Cannes Stars

The same regulations, but many new features at the first stage of the Longines Global Champions Tour and the Global Champions League in Doha (Qatar): 17 teams, including two all-women's teams, will determine their champion - or, as last year with the Iron Dames Cannes Stars, their champions - at 15 stages worldwide over the coming months until the end of October.
